Testimonials from Paso Robles Physical Therapy Patients

"I think of physical therapists as heroes. When I first got home from the hospital after total knee replacement surgery, my home therapist worked hard in his allotted time to get me started on the road to recovery. When it was time to find a place to continue knee therapy, it was PRPT that I chose, upon my husband's recommendation, because of his good experience with them earlier. They proved to be just what I needed for direction and encouragement. I enjoyed the friendly, relaxed atmosphere they maintained there. My therapist, Heather, worked hard alongside of me to achieve the goals that were set. Sometimes it meant sweat and tears, but I saw progress with each visit. I will never forget how the entire staff cheered when I was finally able to pedal a bicycle a full turn for the first time. They, along with my family, were my help and my encouragement when I needed it the most. I felt like the care I received from PRPT was not only professional, but that they genuinely cared about me as well as all their other patients. I am deeply grateful to them."

"I have been more than happy with the results of my therapy. They have worked miracles on me and the staff is excellent."

"I am writing to express my appreciation for the experience I have had at PRPT. Any new medical experience brings with it anxiety, but I felt welcome from the day I walked in the door. I can't emphasize too much how the obviously capable and particularly friendly therapy staff further eased my concerns. And the clean, spacious and well-equipped physical environment made me feel I was in the right place. I have now been participating for over a year and have the greatest confidence in routines I have been taught and the monitoring I'm receiving. The combination of equipment, exercises and aquatic therapy has been invaluable. My continued participation has allowed me to avoid surgery and taught me the value of physical therapy as not only a restorative but also a preventative course of action. What I thought was going to be nothing more than a painful process to get behind me as quickly as possible has become a major influence on my overall well-being thanks to the staff and resources at PRPT."

"My husband Vic and I have been treated by Tony Wallace at Paso Robles Physical Therapy for several years. We have received excellent treatment and have had good results for our conditions while under his care. Tony has an excellent staff and we have been treated with respect. They also have time to listen to their patient's complaints. We appreciate this very much."

"All the people at Paso Robles Physical Therapy, Jo Ann, Tony, Matt and Heather, have been terrific to me over the past three years of treatment. I have had a series of very unusual surgeries, starting with an allograft of the right ankle and ending with a revision to a total ankle replacement. Heather Withers has been my therapist through all this, and she has been painstaking in researching my condition and finding creative therapy techniques to help me. Paso Robles Physical Therapy has been like an extended family to me and has offered help above and beyond mere physical therapy. Heather has helped me cope with things outside her work and our friendship goes beyond therapist-patient. I always recommend to people to seek treatment with Paso Robles Physical Therapy because they are truly caring in addition to being great physical therapists."

"I was in a car accident 12 years ago. I was sent to Santa Barbara Rehab. There I had to learn EVERYTHING all over again. That meant to swallow food again. I came to live in Paso Robles, back in 1999, that's when I found this absolutely fantastic place called Paso Robles Physical Therapy. I have learned so much here. I have worked with Maria, Pat and Matt. I just thank God I found them."

I have recently had a knee replacement. My wife was going to Paso Robles Physical Therapy so I asked my doctor to prescribe my physical therapy there. I could not have done without Heather Withers, MPT. The one on one treatment I received was incredible and it gave me the strength and desire to continue my home regiment. I looked forward to each and every appointment, excitedly. To walk in the door and have each one of therapists greet you from across the room as they were working with their patients was extremely rewarding. Each would comment on my improvements as I slowly walked to the desk to sign in. Paso Robles Physical Therapy has the expert training and the ability to give each individual exactly what is needed to put you back on your feet and feeling 100%. I strongly recommend Paso Robles Physical Therapy to any one who needs physical therapy of any nature.

In September 2001, I had a total right hip replacement in Santa Barbara and when released, was sent to physical therapy in the north county. I was treated and released after 10 appointments. Very little was ever prescribed for me to do as "in home" therapy. I was told what to do on the exercise equipment, left to complete that and out the door I went. Little did I know that what I had received was not what is done at Paso Robles Physical Therapy. Since my surgery I have acquired Trochanteric Bursitis and Heather Withers helped me get back on my feet. Also it was discovered that I have a problem with an SI Joint and Heather has also used her knowledge to treat this painful problem and remedy it. I would not be where I am today without the help of Paso Robles Physical Therapy and Heather Withers. I highly recommend them to everyone if they need any kind of rehabilitation.

I've been under the care of Paso Robles Physical Therapy for almost two years. The aquatic exercises are extremely beneficial and allow me to get the needed therapy to help me handle my daily activities. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. The individual treatment by our therapist, Heather, to every patient's needs and her constant monitoring of how we are doing is invaluable.
Ann Bell - Paso Robles

When I came to Paso Robles Physical Therapy I could barely walk on my own. After a month of rehabilitation I am now stronger and healthier than I ever was. After being in an accident it is very encouraging being able to gain so much out of a disaster.
